Julia started practicing yoga as a child in her local draughty community hall on a hand towel and has always found herself being drawn back to yoga over the years – although she now prefers to use the mats in her beautiful yoga studio! Julia completed her yoga teacher training at Yogacampus at The Life Centre in Islington, London and is a Yoga Alliance qualified teacher. She now also works as a contact teacher for yoga teacher trainees on the Yogacampus course.
Julia says “I hugely enjoy the physical and demanding aspects of yoga asana (posture) practice but I also like to explore the harmony that yoga brings to the body and the mind through the use of the breath. This is a focus in my classes as I believe that yoga is something that works on the whole being and not just the physical body. My hope is that my classes will provide a sanctuary from the stresses of the frenetic world we all live in as well as giving practitioners an enjoyable physical challenge. I have also studied degrees in Philosophy and Psychotherapy and I like to bring a little of that experience to class with me. I want my yoga class to feel that they are always treated with empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard – and of course I also want students to have some fun.”
“Thank you so much for your kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity in putting together such a wonderful studio. The entire experience leaves me feeling refreshed and relaxed every time I attend”
“I joined not really knowing what to expect. What I came home with left me feeling happy, healthy and wanting more. Thank you for your inspiring thoughts, refreshing flows and well taught classes!”
““I would just like to say thank you for the immensely enjoyable experience I have when I come to your studio. Aside from the beautiful surroundings and lovely atmosphere, I am always so impressed with the structure and thoughtful content.”
Relaxation, meditation and strengthening is waiting.
