    One to one sessions with Julia online or in person £60 or £200 for four sessions.

    Julia offers a limited number of hourly mentoring sessions for yoga teachers or teacher trainees either online via zoom or in person. Julia can guide and support you through teacher training, advise you on setting up as a teacher and help with issues you might encounter.

    Julia can also prescribe a personal practice for you to support your personal journey and also give advice and support on personal or emotional issues. Get in touch directly with Julia to arrange a session.

  • Soundbath with Kirsten

    Sunday 25 January & Sunday 15 February 1915-2030 £25

    Immerse yourself in the ancient ritual of sound alchemy.

    We begin with a guided meditation to draw our focus inward while the gentle sounds of crystal and copper bowls, shamanic instruments and singing encourage deep relaxation and self-connection.

    These soothing frequencies drop us deep into the body, allowing us to digest our emotions and rebalance the nervous system. This restorative experience often leaves us feeling lighter, peaceful and more heart-aligned - the perfect start to your week.

    (Not suitable for people who have undergone recent surgery, suffer from epilepsy or are pregnant)

    Kirsten is a certified Sound Healer sharing the ancient ritual of sound alchemy, weaving in Shamanic and Eastern influence into her practice. After witnessing the profound effects sound healing had on her mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing she was drawn to share this beautiful gift with others.

  • Restore & Renew: Group Reiki Session with Victoria

    Sunday 25 January 1630-1800 £40

     Victoria says “Reiki healing  is an ancient Japanese energy practice that helps bring the body, mind and soul back into balance.

    It gently clears and rebalances your energy, allowing you to release what no longer serves you and feel more aligned from within.  

     You’re invited to experience this practice in a welcoming group setting and are encouraged to arrive with an intention in mind, whether that is easing stress, finding clarity, grounding or balancing your emotions. It is also very effective for working with any physical, emotional or spiritual blocks that my be holding you back in your progress in life. 

    The experience will begin with breathing exercises to help the participants connect to the relaxing frequency needed to optimise the experience. Background soothing music and Aromatherapy with calming and healing essential oils scent  will prepare de scene for a relaxing and inspiring visualization. The intense flow of energy created by the group will enhance the Reiki energy that each one in the room will individually receive.  Crystals and gems will also play an important part in this special experience .

    At the end of the session participants will feel calm and relaxed. Feelings of joy and gratitude are often experienced, but most of all feelings of being empowered and connected to their inner self.”

  • Flow into Fulfilment: A workshop to create your own sacred sankalpa and then begin the journey to fulfilment with Julia

    Saturday 10 January 1100-1330 £45

    Join Julia on this personal journey to create your own sankalpa (resolution) through yoga, meditation, journalling and yoga nidra.

    Julia will take you through step by step until you are happy with your sankalpa. You will create this through a grounding yoga practice, followed by meditation and journalling. We will then move through the process of discovering what yoga nidra is and how it can help with your sankalpa. We will finish with a 30 minute yoga nidra to implant your sankalpa so that it can come to fruition.

    Even if you already have a sankalpa it will give you an opportunity to refresh it or confirm it is still valid for you and reinforce it within.

  • Christmas Kirtan with Theresa, Pernilla & Liliia

    After the joy of our Full Moon Kirtan in September, Theresa, Pernilla and Liliia are reuniting for a special festive kirtan at The Yoga House.

    Some of you may remember Theresa, who taught here before spending two years travelling through Asia and India. She immersed herself in ashrams, yoga centres, Vedic astrology, Indian Classical Music, and the heart of the bhakti tradition. We’re thrilled to welcome her back, alongside Pernilla and Liliia, for this seasonal gathering.

    ✨ Expect an uplifting, soul-nourishing afternoon of song and devotion.

  • Yoga & Therapeutic Group

     A focused 5-week course to ease stress, anxiety, and trauma, led by Psychotherapist and Yoga Teacher Tess

     Saturday mornings from January 17th 2026. 11am to 1pm.

    Investment: £180 for 10 hours over 5 weeks.

     This unique course blends:

    Therapeutic Yoga: A gentle, grounding practice to soothe the central nervous system, release tension, and rebuild mind–body connection.
    Therapeutic Group (Psychotherapist-Led): a safe, compassionate space to reflect, share (if you choose), and integrate your experiences with professional support.

     Tess brings years of experience as a practicing psychotherapist, supporting individuals who struggle with stress, anxiety, and trauma-related difficulties. She understands how the coping mechanisms we develop to “get through” challenging times can later become barriers to the deeper self-care and connection that we need in order to heal. This can lead to feelings of loneliness, emptiness, or disconnection. This course aims to gently address these experiences.

     What to expect:

    Each weekly session includes:

    50 minutes of therapeutic yoga for stress, anxiety & trauma

    60 minutes of psychotherapist-held therapeutic group

    Tools to support daily calm and emotional regulation

    A safe community space where you are seen, supported, and not alone

     Each week will be themed with a focus tailored specifically for stress, anxiety and trauma.

    Weeks 1–2: Release tension and stress held in the body
    Weeks 3–4: Rediscover inner resources and emotional awareness
    Week 5: Reconnect with yourself and integrate mind–body resilience

     By the end of the course, you will:

    Experience a deeper sense of calm and self-connection

    Build emotional resilience

    Feel more grounded and confident in navigating stress and anxiety

    Reconnect with your true self, at your own pace, with support

     This is a closed group, meaning the same participants attend each week. This supports trust, safety, and depth as you move through the course together.
    Confidentiality is essential for all attendees.

     All levels of yoga are welcome — including complete beginners.
    No previous experience of therapy or group work is required.

     Tess is a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy) and adheres to the BACPs Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

    She is also a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher, integrating mind–body healing within a trauma-informed approach.
